Greg Swaby talks to Kate Nash

After the Noctis Magazine shoot with Kate Nash; we headed towards a cafe not too far down the road so that, over a cup of tea, Greg Swaby could talk to Kate for another one of his great interviews for Noctis.

I couldn't help but document the event.

You can read the interview on page 150 of Noctis Magazine

Behind the Scenes with Kate Nash

Kate Nash is someone that people love to hate.

But there is no reason to hate her, she knows what she wants; and quite frankly is pretty cool about it.

After a delayed start, Kate arrived at the studio with company, her rabbit, Fluffy. Once we'd become accustomed with the fact there would be a furry addition to the day, the shoot began.

Kate Nash's new look is stronger and edgier than I remember; she has transformed herself into a new character, she has "grown up" if you will. Her style is still hailed as being the alternative-indie pop that we recognise, but there is something different about her, something new.

With Noctis Magazine over the past year I have been fortunate enough to experience some wonderful things, and this is definitely one of them. Assisting Leoni Blue is always a pleasure, I learn something new each time. On this occasion, I learnt that sometimes you have to look after a musicians rabbit.

Here are some behind the scenes shots from the day [more to follow].

BlackWater Revue [digital]

The above have been some of my favourite digital photographs of BlackWater Revue; Additionally you can read my interview with vocalist, Ed Stone, and drummer, Tom Harrison, here [complete with 35mm frames] and see behind the scenes photographs here. I hope to work with them again soon, they are a lot of fun.
