Sinéad O'Connor

The lovely PURPLE PR have informed us that Sinéad O'Connor has a new single in the pipeline and 4 very special London shows, one of which has already taken place.
Sinéad O’Connor will release her brand new single "4th And Vine’ through One Little Indian on January 28th 2013.

"4th and Vine" is the second single to be taken from her latest album "How about I be me (And you be you)?" which is already highly critically acclaimed. It is her ninth studio album, and the latest release in a career spanning 25 years and millions of record sales worldwide.
"How about I be me (And you be you)?"  ranks as one of her best pieces so far, it oozes class and confidence.
Naturally songs about love and loss, hope and regret, pain and redemption, anger and justice, are predominant throughout the album, but it also consists of moving, exciting and brilliantly beautiful songs which are build around Sinéad's voice at its very best. Raw and passionate.
‘Joyous, brave and her most accessible in years’ - The Guardian

‘The high priestess of pop has recovered her mojo’ -  The Observer
'Feisty, fresh and confident... a heartbreaking performance from a vital musical force' - The Independent
‘A work of subtle beauty’ - GQ
‘This new record rightly re-establishes Sinead as an astonishing vocal talent... A fabulous reminder of O'Connor the musician. Brilliantly intense and intensely brilliant’ - The Evening Standard
Sinéad is playing a series of very special shows in London at personally chosen intimate spaces leading up to a final headline show at The Barbican. In a nod to one of her musical heroes, Bob Marley, Sinéad has called it the "Crazy Baldhead" tour.
