Dexters due to release debut single

DEXTERS are set to release their debut single "Recover" on This Feeling Records in a matter of days. The 19th November to be exact.

After growing up together on estates in the less fortunate part of East London, the band formed in 2011; alongside their good looks, their anthematic sound combines their vast range of influences which span from the melodies of The LA's to the sheer punk, visceral aggression of The Clash and The Specials; the cherry on top is the narrative packed lyrics of The Kinks.
Debut single "Recover" is a 3-minute stunner, complete with brash drums, alluring guitars and catchy vocals which soar through to the huge chorus.
"Produced by Jamie Ellis (Paul Epworth / Chapel Club) and mixed by Duncan Mills (The Vaccines / Beastie Boys / MGMT), it is a massive guitar anthem and the perfect introduction to the band. Confident, rampant and energetic; this is Dexters".
The track will be available from the bands Facebook page for free from the 19th November, and has already been added to the XFM evening playlist, but for now you can watch the video here:

The video was shot on an East London estate in lead singer Tom Rowlett’s parent’s house and was filmed during a raucous house party where the band performed for friends and fans.
After recently touring the UK with The Enemy and playing their own UK shows, we're told there is tour footage floating about somewhere?

DEXTERS ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON THEIR DEBUT ALBUM WHICH WILL BE RELEASED IN 2013; FOR NOW YOU CAN KEEP UP WITH THE BAND ON FACEBOOK.
